The Danube Regional Waterworks (DMRV) announced on Tuesday that Hungary and Slovakia are partnering on a EUR 1.9m water treatment project with EUR 1.5m of support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The project, launched under the leadership of the HUN-REN Research Centre for Astronomy and Earth Sciences, with the participation of DMRV and the Slovakian municipality of Vinica, seeks to improve the efficiency of municipal wastewater treatment through technology-intensive interventions. It started in June and will run until November 2026.
