Hungary sends 35-strong police unit to Serbia to assist in border protection

Police.hu has confirmed that the Hungarian police force has sent a 35-strong unit to Serbia to assist local forces in border protection. The Hungarian officers will mostly patrol the border to prevent and investigate illegal border entries and will cooperate with local forces in arresting people smugglers and illegal migrants. The contingent will also patrol roads farther from the border.
