Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is to lead commemorations of Hungary’s Revolution and War of Independence of 1848-49 tomorrow, March 15.
The national holiday will be marked with a series of events around Hungary and will begin with the hoisting of the national flag in front of Parliament with military honors at 9am.
Following the ceremony, a state celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the garden of the National Museum where Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will, according to tradition, deliver a speech.
MTI reports that Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén will attend commemorations organized by the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians in Vojvodina, northern Serbia.
