László Palkovics, Minister of Innovation and Technology, visited market leaders of Germany’s health industry in Tuttlingen on Friday.
According to MTI, the Hungarian minister and leaders of Karl Storz and B.Braun/Aesculap discussed a number of opportunities for cooperation. Palkovics met Tuttlingen Mayor Michael Beck and Stefan Baer, the district’s administrator, to discuss issues around industrial zones, investment promotion, dealing with a shortage of skilled labor and removing red tape. The talks could facilitate closer cooperation between universities along the river Danube, with a conference in Budapest as the next step in the process. As the closing event of his two-day visit to Baden-Württemberg, Palkovics held a lecture at an event organized by the economic chamber of Stuttgart.
