We will not compromise on border protection, opposition to immigration, and defense of Christian culture, says minister

"We cannot and do not want to strike a compromise" on these issues.

Following the meeting today in Budapest between Prime Minister Orbán and EPP Spitzenkandidat Manfred Weber, Gergely Gulyás, minister of the Prime Minister's Office, issued the following statement:

"We are open to all kinds of talks, but concerning the question of defending the external border, the question of repudiating migration, and the matter of defending Christian culture, we cannot and do not want to strike a compromise."
