The foreign minister said Hungary has so far donated 455,000 doses of Covid vaccines to Egypt, Rwanda and Cape Verde.
Minister Szijjártó said migration from the Sahel region in Africa was putting Europe under heightened pressure.
The foreign minister has stated that mass migration coming from Africa can only be prevented in future by providing sufficient development aid to countries in that continent.
György Hölvényi highlighted the security situation in Burkina Faso and warned that the Islamic State was now expanding in the less secure countries of the Sahel region.
PM Orbán highlighted that it is rare nowadays for a country to openly identify as Christian. “This is banned in Europe,” he said, adding that “we can’t talk about questions of identity there; it’s a different world"
“We must help countries that demonstrate a serious and responsible attitude towards measures that directly influence the security of Europe,” the foreign minister said

Brussels eurocrats believe that migration is a positive phenomenon and something that should be facilitated. The Hungarian government, however, sees migration in a completely different light: mass immigration destabilizes, poses serious risks to our European Christian civilization, and should be stopped.

Following talks with Osman Saleh Mohammed, the foreign minister of Eritrea, Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said that Africa needed peace, security and economic development in order to retain its population
“Our position is that help must be taken to Africa rather than problems being brought to Europe, especially not to Hungary,” the prime minister said
If the UN's goals are realized then the make-up of Europe’s population will change radically in the upcoming few years, the foreign minister said
