Csaba Dömötör insisted that some companies were getting “stinking rich” through soaring energy prices, with special regard to “large, international energy companies”.
The foreign minister said US-Russia talks were needed to end the conflict.
The prime minister said a ceasefire and peace talks would result in economic relief.
“China is a permanent member of the UN Security Council, and can therefore play an important role in preventing an escalation of the war,” Péter Szijjártó said.
The finance minister said that mulling a decision to extend sanctions to the energy sector poses the gravest danger to the forint and to the Hungarian people.
MAT condemned the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine to a war, calling it a step in serious breach of international law which threatened the security of the transatlantic space.

10 million cubic meters of natural gas are arriving daily in Hungary from the south via the Turkey-Bulgaria-Serbia route, the minister of foreign affairs and trade said on Facebook on Sunday.
